    Opening Ceremony and Awards – “Vine, Wine, and the Joy of Living” International Photo Exhibition

    The opening of the exhibition and the festive award ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 4, during the events dedicated to the National Day of Romanian Gastronomy and Wine. The event will be held at the Center for the Culture and Civilization of Taste, located within the Medieval Fortress of Oradea.

    The annual contest, dedicated to celebrating Romanian gastronomy and wine, welcomed participants from AIEFA member organizations and 62 partner institutions across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, as well as independent photography enthusiasts. This year, a total of 430 images were submitted. The jury — Dr. Ing. Patricia Știrbu (President of Summit Agro Romania, the Balkans and the Republic of Moldova), Ștefan Tóth István (President of the Jury), and Dr. Dorin Popa (President of the Millesime Association, Oradea) — selected 202 works for exhibition. The chosen images were created by photographers from Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, Romania, the Republic of Moldova, Serbia, Slovakia, the United States, Ukraine, and Hungary.

    • Millesime Excellence Award – Károly Gábor (Hungary), “Spring Awakening”
    • Summit Agro Romania Trophy – Radu Gabor
    • Jury Trophy – Virgilio Bardossi (Italy) and Cristina Garzone, for their full collections
    • Euro Foto Art Trophy – Ilie Tudorel (Romania) for his collection, and Bolla László (Hungary) for “The Old Barrel”
    • Gold Medal “Carol Pop de Szathmári” – Hős Norbert (Serbia), for his full collection
    • Silver Medal – Marian Plaino (Romania)
    • Bronze Medal – Masaaki Koizumi (Japan), “Wine Acrobatics at a Small Bar in Tokaj”

    “Carol Pop de Szathmári” Plaques were awarded to Pierfrancesco Baroni (Italy), Alessandro Cencetti (Italy), Incze Domokos (Romania), Rostyslav Kondrat (Ukraine), Martin Kučera (Slovakia), Morvay-Szabó Edina (Romania), Szabó Géza (Romania), Ryuichi Tazaki (Japan) for “Cellar Silence”, and Vaeceslav Bruma (Republic of Moldova).
